You need to be at Heraklion port at 07:00 am. Although the ferry boat departs at 08:00am, it is essential that you are there long before that. At Heraklion port you will give your ticket and receive the ferry tickets and the Santorini tour bus number. You will give your tickets at the ticket kiosk as per our email instructions. After that you will board the ferry boat. It will take 2 hours and 15 minutes across the Aegean Sea to reach Santorini’s Athinios port. The ferry has a snack bar where you can find lots of snacks and drinks to choose from. By booking this tour to Santorini you also book standard seats on the ferry. Your seat is written on the ferry tickets. You may choose to upgrade to VIP seats for an extra charge.

You can wander through its maze like streets to find charming cafes, shops, and traditional taverns serving Greek food. Fira boasts cultural treasures such as the Museum of Prehistoric Thera. It offers insights into the Santorini’s ancient civilizations.
You may do some shopping, take lots of photographs or choose to have some lunch. We will spend here two hours. During the high season we offer an optional (extra cost) cruise with a wooden boat to the volcano of Santorini. It is an option because it lasts about one and a half hour. This time is lost from your stay at Fira.
After our visit we will return to Athinios Port. It will take about 20 minutes to reach it. There we will easily board the fast ferry for the journey back to Heraklion.
